The Equipment Trader is a scout leader out in California that frequents yard sales and second hand stores for scout and camping gear. Worth a look to check his site, the items are generally used but in good shape.
The US Scouting Service Project and MacScouter are good resource websites, they have more links than we list here. For example, the ScoutMaster links, Backpacking links, Songs and Skits.
It's also a good source of information for the Cub Scout Ranks, look down the links on the left side for links to advancement requirements, belt loop requirements (Academics and Sports Program), etc.
Grog's Scouting Knots Index shows how to tie all the basic scouting knots - and it's animated.
A good scout gear list article from backpacking light magazine, suggests how to get started with camping and hiking equipment, light and not too expensive. Although it suggests tarps instead of tents, it has some good information on other items.
